Minimum Days of Care

Rossi Child Care Centre requires children to be enrolled and attending day care for a minimum of 2 days per week. This helps children settle in to the centre and in to a good routine at a much faster pace. Children should arrive at the centre by at least 9.00am on their days of attendance. It is also preferred that children are not collected until after 3.00pm. Parents should inform staff when your child will be in late or collected early so that the child is prepared for during the day and ready on time when being collected early. Parents should also inform staff where the child will be collected later than the usual time.

Before and After School Care

Rossi Child Care Centre is licensed to provide before and after school care for children between the ages of 5 to 12 years. However, for the safety of the younger children in our care, we only provide this service for children up to the age of 6 years, or the siblings of children already in our care. Where possible, we prefer that the parent and child visit a few times before commencing care so that the child is able to get to know the children and staff.

Vacation Care

Vacation care can be made available for children in preschool and grade school only if there is a vacant position within the centre. Children in kindy who's parents have paid for the use of long day care in our Centre, are already enrolled for vacation care and the parents of these children need only notify Management if the child will be away during vacation times.
