At Rossi Child Care Centre we aim to provide and promote an environment of love and acceptance where every child regardless of creed, gender or racial background is able to reach their own fullest potential. We believe 'that a child is a child first and then a child with special needs' (Quite Able RUCSN). Children are cared for both as individuals and as a group where programs cater for physical, intellectual and social emotional needs. Weekly and monthly evaluation ensures that changes are made as required and that the objectives and needs of the staff, centre, children and families continue to be met.
At Rossi Child Care Centre we believe that every child has the right to high quality educational, stimulating and entertaining experiences in a safe, caring and loving environment. We believe that a healthy environment where hygiene and safety are incorporated in to our daily programmes makes for healthy children.
Rossi Child Care Centre has developed this philosophy in cooperation with the Management, Staff and parents and is based on the development and learning theories of Vygotsky, Pestalozzi, Montessori, Froebel, Steiner and Piaget as well as the National Child Care Accreditation Standards and Requirements and The Department of Community Development (Child Care Licensing) Regulations.
